Types of Braces in Fort Wayne, IN

Dr. David Painter is proud to offer ClearCorrect™ clear aligners from the convenience of Union Chapel Dentistry.

ClearCorrect clear aligners are a plastic, clear form of braces that put gentle pressure on the teeth to help move them into the desired position. You will receive a set of aligners to wear for the majority of the day, only taking out to eat, brush, and floss. The aligners are periodically replaced with the next aligner in the series, each moving your smile closer to your desired result.

Most people find that clear aligners are more comfortable to wear than traditional wire braces: no brackets and wires mean less friction! Clear aligners also have the benefit of being removable, so you can eat whatever you want without worrying about it getting food stuck in the wires. On top of that, clear aligners are much more discreet so many people won’t even know you’re wearing them.

The length of treatment is dependent on your individual needs. The time it takes to reach the results you want depends on the positioning of your teeth at the beginning of treatment and a variety of other factors such as bone growth, oral hygiene, and patient compliance. Dr. Painter will go over the timeline for treatment early on in the process so you’ll know what to expect.

We offer complimentary consultations at our Fort Wayne dental office so you can learn more about our practice and the ClearCorrect process, and receive a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. Call (260) 232-0280 to schedule yours today!
